  “HANA MATSURI: BUDDHA, ZEN AND THE STILL CENTER”

  Come a little early and BRING FLOWERS to decorate the Hana Mido (arbor) as we celebrate the Japanese Flower festival of the birth of the Buddha.  Through poetry, meditation and reflection, we’ll rest within the still center of our beings and create sacred space.  The children will join us for the first part of the service to ladle sweet tea over the statue of the baby Buddha.  Lily Popova will conduct the choir.  Plan to stay for the special congregational meeting after.
