  TURNING AND RETURNING: THE DAYS OF AWE

  Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, starts this year on September 20.  It is the beginning of the High Holy Days, called the Days of Awe, which end on September 30 with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement (at-one-ment).  This is a time to engage in the ancient practice of returning to the “home of your soul,” through self-assessment, apology, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
