Visitors

Welcome!

Welcome to the Monte Vista Unitarian Universalist Congregation, an inclusive spiritual community.

We bid you welcome to this house of worship.  Whatever your religious tradition; even if none, we welcome you.  We affirm all people regardless of age, ability, belief, race, ethnicity, country of origin, language, economic status, education, political perspective, gender, sexual orientation or family structure.

We are a Welcoming Congregation offering open hearts to LGBTQ persons within the community.

We do “not need to think alike to love alike”, wrote Francis David, a 16th century Unitarian. IMG_4182

When to Come:

We are meeting online Every Sunday at 10:30am for all:  babies, children, youth, teenagers, and adults, young and old.  Religious Exploration activities for toddlers through high school are held at 10:30 as well.  Come as you are; bring your family and friends.
All are welcome.  Come help us make the world a better place for ourselves and future generations.

What to Expect:

Service usually includes a combination of songs, speakers, music, meditation, sharing, an Offertory to support the congregation and a collection for a local food pantry.  Once a month we Share The Plate with another organization.

Come early and meet others. Children and youth are welcome in the Sanctuary at the beginning of the Service. The children will be excused after a short time to join a group of other kids near their age supervised by lay teachers.

Stay afterwards to enjoy coffee, snacks and conversation.  A Visitors’ Table on the patio has someone with information about Unitarian Universalist movement and to answer your questions.

Meet the Minister Rev. Maggie Burbank Yenoki during social hour.

We promote spiritual growth, community involvement, social witness, advocacy, and fellowship with others. We work together to make the world a better place using our caring hearts, open minds, and helping hands.  We invite you to join us…
