With both compassion and wisdom for the best care of our Congregation, and in response to directives from the latest Science & Healthcare experts and the UUA, the MVUUC Board and Rev Maggie invite your participation in our In-person and online gatherings for Sunday Worship, Religious Exploration, and Group Meetings.

The emergence of Black Lives Matter specifically and the death of George Floyd, have re-energized international attention on the conflict. The American movements of the last year have had a direct impact on how the Palestinian's view their own struggle as part of the larger global struggle against racism, sexism, and injustice in general.

In this sermon I will offer some ideas about facing some difficult situations when we can still be free to choose how to face them with equanimity. I will be calling on the work of Victor Frankl and his experience as a prisoner in a Nazi prison which developed into his Psychology of Logotherapy.
