Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU) was established by the Unitarian Universalist Association for youths from 14 to 20 years of age as a “religious organization dedicated to such purposes as fostering spiritual depth, creating a peaceful community on earth and peace within us, and clarifying both individual and universal religious values as part of our growth process”.  It is designed as a youth-adult collaboration, with the adult referred to as “advisors”.  There are a variety of activities & programs at the congregational, regional and national levels for YRUU.

Our Whole Lives – OWL

Our Whole Lives (OWL) is one of the most extensive and thorough sex education curricula, with programs appropriate for all ages. OWL helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. With a holistic approach, this curricula provides accurate, developmentally appropriate information about a range of topics, including relationships, gender identity, sexual orientation, sexual health, and cultural influences on sexuality.

An informational meeting for parents with children in grades 4, 5, and 6 will be held on March 11, 2018 at noon in Room 1. The schedule for classes will be distributed at that time.
