Stewardship

Stewardship is the “job of protecting, taking care of and being responsible for something important”.  Thus, everyone is responsible for our congregation as we are all part of the interdependent web. Stewardship is the Joy of Giving to our Unitarian Universalist religious community.  Stewardship is a form of ministry.  We give from our hearts and from our hard work.  Contributions to Monte Vista UU Congregation are accepted at any time.

Stewardship also includes our Planned Giving & Endowment Fund, established in 1998.  We invest with the UU Common Endowment Fund.

Planning Your Future? Including MVUUC in your estate plan is one of the easiest ways to make a lasting impact for the religious traditions you value.   Find out how to make MVUUC a beneficiary of your will, life insurance policy or retirement plan. Planned gifts are most appreciated, as well as current gifts of cash, securities or other items of worth.  For information about how to make gifts to the Endowment Fund, contact our Stewardship Chair.
